Privacy Policy
Effective July 15, 2026
This policy describes how The Method Bureau ("we," "us"), based in Sacramento, California, handles information collected through themethodbureau.com. The short version: the only information we collect is what you type into the audit application form, and we use it to respond to you. We don't sell it, and we don't run advertising trackers on this site.
What we collect
If you submit the Systems Audit application, we receive what you enter:
- Your name and business name
- Your industry and your biggest bottleneck (chosen from a list)
- The phone number or email you give us to reach you
If you email us directly, we receive your email address and whatever you write. If you just browse the site, we don't ask you for anything.
How we use it
We use form submissions for one purpose: reviewing your application and contacting you about it. We do not add you to a newsletter, sell or rent your information, or share it with third parties for their marketing.
Who processes it
The site is hosted by Netlify, which processes form submissions on our behalf and, like any web host, keeps standard server logs (such as IP addresses) for security and operations. See Netlify's privacy policy for details on their handling.
Cookies and analytics
This site does not set cookies and does not currently run third-party analytics or advertising trackers. If we add a privacy-respecting analytics tool later, we'll update this policy first.
Retention
We keep application details for as long as we're actively corresponding with you or working together, and delete them on request.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time to see, correct, or delete the information you've submitted. California residents may also have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act; we honor deletion and access requests regardless of where you live. Email hello@themethodbureau.com and we'll handle it.
Children
This site is for business owners and is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll post the new version here with a new effective date.
